Building a target-weight sheet you will still trust in six months

Visitors sometimes arrive wanting targets to two decimal places. Those sheets look rigorous and age poorly. Markets move; decimals invite constant tinkering that has nothing to do with long-term intent.

We prefer whole percentages, a small cash or stable sleeve written as a range, and a hard cap on any single narrative (one chain, one theme, one founder-led token). The cap is usually the line people thank us for later.

Another rule: separate intent baskets. Personal conviction holdings and “company treasury-like” coins should not share a single percentage column if decisions are made by different people. That is why multi-basket comparison exists.

Finally, write the review date on the sheet itself. Six months later, trust comes from knowing which evening the numbers were agreed — preferably with rain on the glass and nowhere else to rush.
